Maundy Thursday

In John’s gospel, Jesus accompanies the Last Supper
with the washing of his disciples’ feet,
an act of service and humility.
As we contemplate his new commandment
(mandatum, where we get the word “Maundy”)
to love one another, we will model Jesus with a
ritual foot/hand washing.
